Hello! I'm Dr. Shannon Butler-Mokoro, and I'm passionate about helping students and families navigate one of life's most exciting—and sometimes overwhelming—journeys: the transition to college.

For more than 30 years, I've worked in higher education as an admissions professional, college educator, academic advisor, student affairs leader, and Executive Director of Student Success Services. Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on what helps students not only get into college, but truly thrive once they're there.

As both a higher education professional and a clinical social worker, I bring a holistic, strengths-based, and student-centered approach to every student and family I work with. I believe that college success isn't just about academics—it's about building confidence, developing resilience, learning to advocate for yourself, and finding a place where you can grow and belong.

When I'm not working with students, you'll likely find me tending my garden, cheering from the sidelines at a lacrosse or soccer game, cooking for family and friends, or planning my next travel adventure.
